Clients earn points for every completed appointment and redeem them for rewards. 1 point = 1 currency unit: if your business operates in USD, 1 point = $1.
Activate the loyalty program#
- Go to MenuMarketingLoyalty Program.
- Switch the toggle from INACTIVE to ACTIVE.
- Choose the bonus types you want to use.
Reward types#
- Free services
- A selected service at no charge, for example a free haircut at 200 points.
- Percentage discounts
- A percentage off, for example 5% at 50 points and 20% at 200 points.
- Fixed amount discounts
- A set amount off, for example $10 off any service for 100 points.
How points are earned#
Points are added when an appointment's status changes to Completed. The number of points equals the monetary value of the appointment.
In a client's profile you can see their points and the history of points earned and redeemed, and add or remove points manually.
Configuration options#
Every reward bonus has these settings:
- Point value
- How many points a client needs to redeem the bonus. Set it to 0 to make the bonus available to all clients, including new ones. Zero-point bonuses are best set to one-time use, so each client can redeem them only once.
- Point deduction
- Whether points are deducted when the bonus is redeemed. In progressive models, where more points give a bigger discount, points are usually kept. For free services and single-use bonuses, they are usually deducted.
- Usage limit
- One-time use, or multiple use (can be redeemed repeatedly).
- Expiration
- Expires after a specific date, or stays valid indefinitely.
- Locations
- All locations, or only selected locations.
- Services
- All services, specific service categories, or selected individual services.
- Team members
- Bookings with any team member, or only with specific team members.
- Client audience
- All clients, specific clients, clients with appointments within a date range, clients with birthdays within a date range, or clients who use specific services.
What clients see#
Bonuses and points#
Clients see their points in your mobile app and on your website. On the home page, the Bonus icon opens the list of available promotions.
The bonuses page shows the client's current point balance and every available bonus with its point cost, including which ones they already qualify for and which need more points.
Redeeming a bonus during booking#
On the Summary page of the booking process, clients tap Check available bonuses.
The list shows only bonuses that are valid for the appointment time, apply to the selected location, service and team member, and that the client has enough points for.
Examples#
Tiered rewards#
Rewards grow with the point balance:
- 50 points = 5% discount
- 100 points = 10% discount
- 200 points = free add-on service
- 500 points = free premium service
Service category reward#
A reward that applies only to one service category, so clients try services they have not booked before.
Seasonal campaign#
A reward with an expiration date that runs only during a slower period.
